What we collect when you shop at MODO, why we need it, and who it’s shared with.

Who we are
MODO sells graphic T-shirts at modoshirts.com. For any question about this policy or your information, email modo@mail.grokbot.com.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, and what you bought. You enter these on Stripe’s secure checkout page, and Stripe passes them to us so we can make and deliver your order.
- Payment cards: you enter card details only on Stripe’s page. We never see or store your full card number.
- When you contact us: your email address and whatever you write to us.
- When you browse: like every website, our servers and hosting provider record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies
- One cookie of our own (“session”) remembers what’s in your bag and protects our forms from misuse. The shop needs it to work, and it ends when you close your browser.
- One technical cookie from our hosting provider (“GAESA”) helps route your visit to the right server.
- We use no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers.
How we use your information
- To take payment, make your shirt and deliver it, and to show your order page and tracking.
- To answer your questions and handle returns, replacements and refunds.
- To prevent fraud and keep the shop secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run the shop, and only what each needs:
- Stripe processes payments and sends your receipt (Stripe’s privacy policy).
- Printful prints and ships your order and receives your name, shipping address, phone number and email address for delivery (Printful’s privacy policy).
- Shipping carriers chosen by Printful receive what they need to deliver your parcel.
- Our hosting and database providers (Replit, running on Google Cloud, and Neon) store and process information on our behalf.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for the purposes above, including legal, tax and accounting requirements.
Your choices and rights
Email us to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it (unless we must keep it, for example for an open order or our legal records). Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, you may have further rights over your information. We’ll respond as the law requires, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.
Children
Our shop is meant for adults: our kids’ shirts are bought by adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Security
Our site uses HTTPS, payments are handled by Stripe, and access to order information is limited to the people who run MODO. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.
Where we operate
MODO is based in the United States, ships within the United States, and your information is processed there.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
